The aqueous solubility of a drug condidate is an important property as the uptake from intestine or lung is highly dependent on solubility. In silico methods to calculate the aqueous solubility from the structural formula of a molecule are desirable. In our published work, a procedure to calculate solubility using Monte Carlo simulations and statistical thermodynamical theories is presented.
